 let's solve it how answer is found and what logic behind it's  ?

just as,

       -> 2http^2 + 4^2 = 4 + 16 = 20

       -> 3^2 + 9^2 = 9 + 81 = 90

Similar,

       -> 1^2 + 5^2 = 1 + 25 =  26

2). Find the missing number.

Answer :- (b) 13 

Solution :- 

let's solve it.

As per shown the picture 

-> 4 + (to add) 3 = (To get) 7 

-> 5 + (to add) 4 = (to get) 9

-> 6 + (to add) 5 = (to get) 11

-> 7 + (to add) 6 = (to get)  13   <= Answer

Solution :-

 let's check it how to get answer and what logic behind its.

If you understand better way then compare solution and picture at a same times.

As per picture start from 3

-> ( 3 × 2) - 1 =  6 - 1 = 5

-> ( 5 × 2) - 1 = 10 - 2 = 8

-> ( 8 × 2) - 1 = 16 - 3 = 13

-> (13 × 2) - 1 = 26 - 4 = 22

Similarly,

-> (22 × 2) - 1 = 44 - 5= 39  <= Answer
